Sunday, Feb 28 probably in the noon time frame. If you two are available (or if you have kiddies as well), I'll buy you lunches :) We can connect up closer - but food for thought :)

Letterman was my weatherman as a kid. He'll always be an Indiana weatherman.

I was there last summer. So cool. I love that you can just walk up and get a $5 ticket for a matinee. How cool is that?

What department are you in at Toledo? I am heading to Cleveland in a few weeks + I'll be driving right past you guys. Maybe lunch or something. (I'm a believer that real life + cyberspace are just one and the same :)

It's also Garfield's school, Jason Whitlock's school... :) We don't define ourselves by any one alumni (although I do teach in the Letterman building at times.)

I am new (as faculty) here so I wasn't there for that (nor do I attend things of that nature as a general rule). But the Telecom building is pretty awesome I have to say. I've done work at lots of universities + BSU is by far the coolest in terms of media creation.

BTW, I spent last summer in England (partially) will be back this summer to do work with The Soho Theater and hang out at The Globe :)

You're at Ball State, eh? Otherwise known as David Letterman's University. =)

I just wrote a piece for FLOW TV on Letterman and cited his contributions to Ball State: http://flowtv.org/?p=4653. Did you attend the induction ceremony of his RTVF building a few years ago?

Hello Kelli:

Another professor from just down the road :) Btw, you're ALSO now in my Reader. I love that you teach Shakespeare + pop culture. *le sigh* That sounds pretty perfect.

I am not sure if I am an inspiration. I am more like Dad. I love them with, you know, sometimes an angry voice :) They are really good kids, though, and I suspect our world will be better for having them in it.

Nice. It's now officially in my RSS Reader :) That is definitely one of the best (non-person) benefits of academia.
