ETC Press

Content Design

Carnegie Mellon University’s ETC Press website needed an overhaul. Built in 2004, it hadn’t been updated for thirteen years.

Working with a development team, I created a series of development prototypes for the site. The designers took those and customized a WordPress theme to match what we needed.

I wrote the copy for the site, which included descriptions of more than one-hundred books and journals, developed the author and editor packets, and built a tag taxonomy for organizing the content.

I worked with a graphic designer to create the updated logo, as well as a design bible for book covers, web graphics, and all social marketing material.
