The Geeky Press

Content Design

Indianapolis writers wanted a way to gather, network, and collaborate. I wasn’t sure how to make that happen, and so I asked the community.

I held a series of readings in 2014 and 2015, held a few happy hours, and asked people who came to participate in a small number of design thinking exercises. I took their suggestions — networking events, places to publish, writing retreats, and happy hours — and built The Geeky Press website and community around their ideas.

The site has evolved since then as we’ve added more features: a newsletter, a podcast, and more stand-alone publications (as opposed to just our literary magazine).

If you're interested in keeping up with my writing projects, I’ll overlook your bad judgement on that and instead say thank you. A writer's life blood is readers. Without you, I'm just a crazy guy sitting in his office furiously screaming on the page for no reason. So sign up for my mailing list, and download Frankenstein’s Legacy, my latest work published by CMU’s ETC Press.
